Chris RiddellWomen suffer from anxiety at higher rates than men, this kind of exercise is particularly beneficial. I just love how Indian Clubs calm me down. |
Marisa LevaBoth Indian Clubs and Mace have opened up a new world in my quest for unconventional yet effective techniques to gain and maintain fitness. |
Emma-Lisa HanssonI guess it’s a combination of strength, mindfulness, flexibility, and brain exercise that Indian Clubs present. You can do whatever you feel like when it comes to clubs. |
Kelly ManzonePillars of Female StrengthA concept that helps women to tap into their innate physical and emotional strength through the use of implementing circular and vintage strength training tools. Women have always been strong and resilient – We take a close look at the roles and contributions of women in physical culture throughout history and how it correlates to the modern woman. |
Dina EnggaardRelax your body and let the movement happen, flow with it so to speak, then you can get into a very meditative type of movement pattern. |
Susan PoulosSusan grew up with Indian Clubs, she remembers learning to swing Indian Clubs from the age of twelve. |
Valerie PawlowskiPhysically, there is no other manner of moving weight behind our bodies as in the way a mace is swung. It produces a corrective and balanced stimulus for the entire regions of shoulder, trunk and upper body. Mentally, the mace swing brings out neuromuscular coordination. |
Kirsten MooreMace swinging can end up being forced by the upper body rather than the smooth flow that it should be. Many people mistakenly think they just need to practice mace technique more, when in reality they may have hip mobility issues that need to be dealt with. |
International Womens Day – Historically
International Womens Day has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland.
