Persian Meels B4 Breakfast

Persian Meels B4 Breakfast. Learning how to swing Persian Meels is a challenge to all of us.

Lightweight Meel

This video shows you what can be done with a lightweight meel before you upgrade to a heavier club. There are two videos, the first shows the front view, and the second shows the drone or birds-eye view.

Two Videos

I have had many questions and emails about movement sequences in the two Persian Meels B4 Breakfast videos. In response, I have isolated each movement section and described them below, there are seven in total.

You will find the sections numbered 1 to 7 below, each with its own description of the movements. To save you time scanning through the whole video looking for a particular sequence. I hope this helps.

Video 1 front view. Persian Meels B4 Breakfast

Video 2 drone view. Persian Meels B4 Breakfast

Filmed in drone or birdseye view so you can see the movements of the upper body, shoulders, arms and hands.

You may find it useful to look at the movement of the elbow which moves on two planes, frontal and sagittal, whilst the meel is being turned.

The Persian Meels weigh 6 pounds each, or 2.7 kilos each

The Persian Meels I am using in both videos, weigh 6 pounds each, or 2.7 kilos each. I really like to set myself a challenge. In this instance the challenge is to swing a combination of two-count and four-count, changing the swing direction one arm at a time. Exercise for the mind and body.

DESCRIPTIONS

Part 1 – Inward

There are four sections in this swing, the first is INWARD and starts with a two count swing. After eight swings, it changes to a four-count with PARALLEL swings, and then onto a straightforward four count.

Part 2 – Parallel Right

My aim is now to reverse my right arm to an OUTWARD swing without stopping. Now you will see that I’m turning the clubs to my right in a PARALLEL formation, and follow the same format of two-count, four-count with parallels, and a plain four count.

Part 3 – Outward

Next, the plan is to change my left arm to an OUTWARD swing without stopping. Now you can see that I’m turning the clubs OUTWARD to both left and right, and again continue with the same format of two-count, four-count with parallels, and a plain four count.

Part 4 – Parallel Left

My aim is now to reverse my right arm to an INWARD swing without stopping. Now you will see that I’m turning the clubs to my left in a PARALLEL formation, and follow the same format of two-count, four-count with parallels, and a plain four count.

Part 5 – Inward – Right – Outward – Left

Both arms working together swinging INWARD, RIGHT, OUTWARD and LEFT.

Part 6 – Inward and Wrist Roll

Both arms working together, alternating an INWARD back circle and a front wrist roll.

Part 7 – Cross

Both arms working together, swinging OUTWARD and stopping with arms parallel to the floor, then reversing.

I hope you found this post useful. If you’ve used this guide to swing Persian Meels.
