Steve Angell and I spent a sunny day in Milton Keynes swinging clubs in all four disciplines. Gada, Jori, Persian Mil and Indian Clubs.

We discussed many things regarding technique, paying special attention to the Persian Mil and looking at the differences between single time swinging and double time movements. I enjoyed trying out Steve’s Jori Clubs, which were made by Mike Simpson based on templates I drew up following last years tour.

Steve Angell and I also swung and compared the handling differences between Jori and the Persian Mil, the weight distribution in these two clubs is completely different resulting and providing very different swing techniques.

There was lots of discussion about the Gada and handle lengths, I encouraged Steve to give single handed Gada swinging a go in the future.
